Our on-island contact Noel Trim and her team offer additional services. You can reach her at 808-300-9226 or kona@secondhomecare.com. For any services booked, you will be billed separately and directly by SecondHomeCare. Examples for services offered are:
Guest greeting: you will be personally welcomed on site and shown around the property.
Shopping: your fridge and kitchen will be stocked with essential items and/or according to your specifications upon your arrival.
Cleaning: if you are staying for more than a week, you might like for the unit to be cleaned during your stay. This way, you save your precious vacation time while enjoying a clean condo.
You will find additional information on the counter in the unit upon your arrival.
Rates will vary seasonally. December through March (Whale Season) and October (Ironman) are most expensive. To get a quote, please head over to the booking form and enter your desired dates.
On top of the daily room rate we (have to) charge the following components:
General Excise Tax HI & County of Hawai’i (GET): 4.712%
Transient Accommodations Tax HI (TAT): 10.25%
Transient Accommodations Tax County of Hawai’i: 3%
Cleaning Fee
Depending on the platform through which you choose to book (vrbo, AirBnB etc.), additional fees may apply such as:

Please note that these fees are charged by the booking platform, over which we have no control. AirBnB is usually cheaper than vrbo.
